    Beneath a silhouette of shadows, darkness fades into light. The sun’s rays seemed to pierce right through the cracks. I glanced down at the floor, my eyes needed to adjust. As I rose to stand I began to feel light-headed but kept my balance. This feeling as if all my fear and doubt were weighing down on me began to consume myself.
